The Long Road Home

Young Gabrielle, long abused by her mother, is abandoned at a convent. While there, she experiences tenderness for the first time. As she grows, she becomes unnerved by the feelings a young priest inspires in her, & she is forced to leave the protection of the nuns behind & venture out into the "real world."
